MAIDJAD Volume 9 Special Edition

Foreword
I am delighted, once again, to write the foreword to this new volume of MAIDJAD. Over time, the
journal has matured into a reputable platform for intellectual discourse and knowledge dissemination in the fields of art, design, and allied disciplines. This special edition, Volume X, builds on that legacy by welcoming topical discussions across a wide range of subjects, including art and design pedagogy, architecture, landmark achievements of individuals (in the form of biographies), habitat studies, anthropology, sustainable environments, comparative cost analysis, and evolving specializations, among others. Researchers will find the Annotated Bibliography in Architecture particularly valuable, offering an accessible and concise reference source. The edition features both completed research reports and ongoing inquiries, reflecting a robust culture of interdisciplinary collaboration. All contributions in this volume adhere to the journal’s guiding ethos and reflect a high level of academic integrity. Our peer reviewers continue to demonstrate professionalism, impartiality, and a steadfast commitment to scholarly excellence providing timely and insightful feedback that strengthens the quality of submissions.
On a personal note, I am pleased to observe a broadening of thematic coverage in recent editions of MAIDJAD. While some manuscripts were returned unpublished due to not meeting baseline requirements, many were eventually resubmitted with significant improvements after constructive feedback.
Looking ahead, MAIDJAD aspires to expand its reach by attracting and embracing scholars and contributors from across the globe. Thank you once again for your continued support. As always, we pray for prosperity, meaningful scholarship, and the enduring capacity to contribute to a sustainable and enlightened future.
